“This was an inexpensive place to sleep for the night during a long road-trip. 1)The internet/wifi did not work. 2)We made reservations for 2 rooms for one night through Hotels.com, but the desk clerk said he could not find the second room reservation. “We realize that this was not a even a med rated hotel,but we checked in on the late side-and the room didnt have any heat and they couldnt change the room-they provide4d a space heater,but it mightas well been none because it didnt help hardly.We haqd to all snuggle in the same bed to keep warm-having an dirty room or low grade room is one thing but no heat is way out of line.I believe we shouldnt have even been charged for this firdt nite.”

“Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway.
