I arrived midnight first night and was given a room on the ground floor in the corner, with people walking and staff pulling trolleys past my door, no wifi, no table and chairs and I couldn't lock the glass doors. I requested a different room for my remaining nights and got a nice location up on the first floor with a lovely balcony, with a table & chairs, so I could work out there each day after work and a view over the nice pool area.
Staff were generally quite friendly and helpful (except the first night). The only criticism would be that the room needs a refresh. It was a bit run down, with no shower curtain but there was hot water aplenty.
There is a limited bar available til 7.30pm. The restaurant and bar are in a separate building 50m along from the reception, reached by a safe walkway, not out on the pavement. Restaurant was a bit pricey but I crossed the road to the Sunugal, which had a nice bar and more menu choice, plus some atmosphere and ambience.
