“The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. “We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint……

We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. “This is a beautiful cabin and was nicely decorated for Christmas during our stay. It's a very quiet location. Unfortunately, our family only had a short stay in this convenient location for a nearby family funeral we attended, but it made the most perfect oasis for us. The back deck is really spacious and has a beautiful view and a well-maintained hot tub. We really must return under different circumstances and warmer months to fully enjoy this fantastic rental property. Highly recommend!”

“This is the cutest little cabin! It is perfectly organized, open and bright, clean, comfortable, and relatively close to many different attractions. While the weather was a little rainy and we didn't get to hike or fish, it is a location we'd love to visit again! For those who want to know...the shower is fantastic with great heat and pressure, and the bed is firm. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates/pans/silverware and a Keurig with K-cups.
