“We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. It is a one of a kind cabin, thoughtfully restored to transport you back in time. It's unique. A very old propane stove and irefrigerator add to the charm. Because it's an old home, don't expect to have all of the modern comforts - but if you want to connect to nature and disconnect from the modern world (like we did) then look no further. “Rustic cabin was perfect for a getaway with my husband and sister-in-law. Close to Makinac City with easy access to the island ferries. The cabin could use some additional updates but was fine as is.”

“Check-in was at 4 o’clock. I got there a few minutes after four and they were still cleaning. They told me it would be a little bit longer so I went to check out the town. When I came back, I was able to check in. It was very clean nice cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Huron. You don’t really see the bridge except for the tips of it. you do have to Drive through a seedy looking motel to get to the property. But overall, it was I had a fantastic day. “One bathroom was the hardest part. Honestly if the owner just added a half bath it would really help the property. Also put a mirror in another room. The only mirror in the entire house is in that one bathroom. ”

“Location to the lake was amazing! Loved waking up and looking out at the lake, however it wasnt the best for swimming. It was hot when we were there so it would be nice to be able to open more windows. Really glad i brought a fan. It was really cute with a little more work it would be excellent. With that being said i believe the posting was honest, i got what i was expecting. ”
