“We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! ”

“This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). The time around 10 of the 100+ rooms are being used so you “rattle around” especially when you’re the only guests!! The hotel needs investment but it has so much potential and you can imagine it being a thriving hotel in the past. Imagine Covid and only a few rooms allowed to open. We knew there were no……

“We only stayed one night, and arrived late, after 10:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the heating had not been switched on, and the room was very cold. Neither of slept well because of the cold, so I'm sorry to say we did not enjoy our stay. The room itself was very nice, clean, and the beds were good. The shower was excellent too.”

“We booked the family room and it was spacious and nicely decorated, the only negative was that it felt very cold in the bathroom area. Mary was very attentive and helped us checking in and taking care of all our requests. It is a beautiful historic property and I would definitely recommend it to others traveling and visiting students at Harlaxton Manor.”

“Lovely room, really nice bathroom fit out. Excellent quality tea, coffee, orange juice etc in the room. Nice variety of self serve breakfast to get when you want. Room was quite loud above the pub until it closed at 11 at night. Overall lovely stay and great value. ”

“I needed a night away it was so peaceful. The log cabin was cosy and warm with firewood provided to light a fire . The man who welcomed me started the fire and was helpful. The cabin had everything you would need it was beautiful but most importantly it was so clean and tidy I will definitely be returning ”
