“The hotel does not look very appealing from the outside (barely recognisable as a hotel) and the lack of reception and breakfast in your room is a bit odd. That said, my room was as per the photos, airy, clean and comfortable. The manager was helpful and the breakfast in the room was perfectly fine. It was all ok for me for a few nights on a work trip, but not what I would call a leisure hotel. ”

“Wonderfull stay in a excellently converted former stable building behing the main house. Perfectly clean and cozy. Best for a solo traveler or couple used to a smaller room. Free parking in the courtyard and just a few minute walk to center of town. Owner was very friendly and offered travel tips.”

“Stayed here for a night to and was very impressed. The hotel is lovely in architecture in the main area's of the hotel, oldie victorian style (I think). My room was huge! Bathroom was Huge! Hallways were fine, a little tired but clean. Staff were incredible throughout and couldn't do enough. Views over towards Arran are beautiful and the Ayr beach promenade is on the doorstep. ”

“Room was rather small but comfortable and was extremely clean, the bathroom was lovely and had a corner bath which was excellent!! The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were lovely helpful and friendly. Food was great too. ”
