Cleanliness was first class, which made me extremely happy and comfortable.
In the swimming pool area including sauna and steam baths, there was no shower, I think. I could not enjoy sauna as much as I wanted because I could not cool myself down with cold water. Also, there was no room to change clothes. Since it was only me who wanted to use the sauna at that time, I put off and on my clothes inside the sauna.
In the hotel room there was a kind of notice/advertisement saying something like, "20% discount for all room service menu", but there was no "menu" anywhere. I had to call the room service asking for a food menu to take my dinner. Then a restaurant menu was brought in. However, in other hotels there is a list of food that can be delivered as part of their room service. I also want to add here that the "20% discount" was not applied to my dinner bill though it was ordered as room service.
The hotel has wonderful facilities and there should be a leaflet in the guest room summarizing them with locations and details on how to use them including fees. After making the hotel booking, I called the hotel to inquire whether the hotel provides or rents swimming costume to hotel guests. The answer was "Yes", but in fact there was no such service.
Overall, it was a nice stay and I enjoyed very much. If only the hotel management may learn more how to run the hotel to maximize the satisfaction of guests as Long Beach Hotel has many excellent facilities!
