The house, the gardens, the pool and the views are spectacular! This is a magical place to stay and we would definitely return again! The villa is close enough to Cortona that you can enjoy everything the Cortona has to offer and then return to the peace and quiet of the villa.

The location is absolutely amazing! Walking distance to Cortona, though a bit steep. Worth walking to restaurants! The house is fantastic. A bit hard beds, but acceptable. Can absolutely return!

Communication was great! All our questions were answered fast. Location of the apartment was at the centre of the town, but the street was quiet at night. The street was actually steps, so not the easiest choice with strollers, but manageable. We could find everything we needed in the apartment. It was also very clean inside. We had a great stay!

A terrific property in Cortona that should not be missed. A fantastic location to town requiring an uphill but not overwhelming walk or 5 minute drive to parking. The house is welcoming and stays very cool even on a warm day. Beautiful views and grounds with a comfortable pool. Wonderful place to base a trip and enjoy day trips within Tuscany. Owner and staff easy to communicate with and very available if needed. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Tuscany! Pictures do not do this property justice. The views are breathtaking.

Exceeded Expectations
From the view, homey feel, to the welcome gifts of wine, olive oil, and homemade apple cake- we loved everything about this stunning villa and location. Houseman did not speak any English, but through Google Translate we were able to piece together conversations. We were a little shocked by the price that was charged for heat so I would definitely recommend getting that clarified upon check-in. Villa is very walkable to town- just be prepared to walk up some very steep hills- well worth it, however. It was a dream vacation and this beautiful villa was a big part of why it was so perfect. The views are extraordinary.

This property is everything we wanted a Tuscan villa to be. We were 5 couples celebrating our 60th birthdays. We all had private bedrooms with private bathrooms. The location is perfection. We could walk to the historic town of Cortona in under 25 minutes, but our property was completely private with a view that was spectacular. In the morning the birds and church bells are your music and the flowers and fruit trees are in abundance.

Tuscan Magic
12 of us (family) rented this beautiful Tuscan property, it was a sheer delight and exceeded our expectations. From the atmospheric houses to the swimming pool it all worked very well for us. The main house was used for the two families with young children whilst my husband and I along with our daughter and son-in-law were in the smaller property. The house could be described as faded grandeur and we wouldn't have wanted it otherwise. We felt relaxed and were made extremely welcome by the owner who was resident onsite (but not intrusive). The property is about a 15 min walk into town either through the olive grove or by road. Either way is a steep walk and not for the frail or unfit. We experienced the most tremendous views, especially at sunset, quite breathtaking. We were after the true Tuscan experience and we cannot imagine there could be a better place to realise this dream. It was MAGICAL!

Das Haus und vor allem der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön! Auch die Zimmer und die allgemeinen Räume sind schön! Die Küche ist etwas klein, falls man häufig selber kochen möchte. Was wir als sehr schade empfunden haben ist, dass man keiner der vorhandenen Pizzaöfen draussen brauchen darf. Das vorhandene WLAN ist sehr schwach.. Im Grossen und Ganzen hatten wir eine Woche wunderschöne Ferien und konnten es in diesem schönen, alten Haus sehr geniessen.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft an einer sehr tollen Lage, welche allerdings nicht einfach zu finden ist. Das Haus ist geräumig und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die Gastgeberin Manuela ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das ganze Haus war sehr sauber und man kann bei Bedarf zweimal pro Woche eine Zimmer/Badreinigung veranlassen. Im Pool kann man sich bestens abkühlen wenn es sehr warm ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit vielen Kühlschränken, etc. Jedoch wenn viele Personen im Haus sind ist die Aussen-Grillstelle etwas klein. Cortona ist sehr schön und ausserdem zu Fuss erreichbar und man kann dort einkaufen und sehr gut essen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen;-)
