Beautiful villa with swimming pool for rent in Tuscany at the foot of Cortona, a historical town whose origins where formed during the Etruscan age.
The property was completely refurbished in 2017 and it is welcoming interiors offer a lovely mix between a modern style and the original characteristics of the house which originated at the end of the 1800’s.
Outside, guests can enjoy furnished space and a beautiful square swimming pool. The house has air conditioning in every bedroom, in the living area and in the dining area.
The geographical location of Villa la Fonte allows for easy visiting of Cortona and all of the main cities in both Tuscany and Umbria.
In the town of Camucia there is a wide range of shops and a train station.
Available to guests: garden and private swimming pool (3 x 3 m; depth: 1,2 m), air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection.
Distances: the centre of Camucia has shops of every kind and a train station – all in a range of 600m, Cortona - 3 km, Perugia - 45 km, Siena - 80 km., Florence - 115 km, Lake Trasimeno is just 15 km away.

Great experience, excellent place in top location!
This was the third, and best place we stayed on a 3.5 week Tuscany trip. The property management was excellent, and met us there in person to check in. The owner brought flowers for my wife's 50th birthday, and our 25th anniversary. The place was very well appointed for the kitchen and we often cooked their at night. The location is perfect for Cortona, and you can drive up the hill in 5 minutes, and the parking outside of Cortona is free. We also explored many other areas like the lake, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Assissi, and others easily from here. While there is a metered charge for heating and electricity is was not much for our group of 6 for a week. Any questions or issues we had we answered and handled promptly. There is grocery stores nearby for food as well. Would highly recommend this rental and location, it was our best experience!

Lived this typical Tuscan house
This house is 200 years old. It has been beautifully remodeled, keeping some of the authentic feel of the house. Dealing with the owner, Enrico, was very pleasant, he tried to meet all our needs. The house is spacious and very clean. The kitchen has all the utensils and amenities needed. The dining room is very spacious and comfortable, as are the bedrooms. The location is very good as it is very close to the train station and buses. The grocery store is close also. The only drawback, the little hill at the last block to reach the house. There are a few little restaurants within walking distance that are very good. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this villa.

Lovely 400 year old home, well decorated with an attentive owner
This home was fantastic. It is a well-preserved 16th century farmhouse that has been well restored with very modern touches and a keen sense of decoration. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with quality cook-wear and utensils. You are a 4 minute drive from the heart of Cortona. We absolutely loved this place.

Das Haus war sehr schön und liess keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren sicher nicht das letztemal dort..
Das Haus war super, die Lage optimal um die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen. Auch Cortona ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Da auch ein Bahnhof im Ort ist, können grössere Städte wie Florenz problemlos und günstig per Zug erreicht werden.
