This spacious, elegant townhome is the perfect location for your next Padre Island getaway. This brand new, luxury property at The Cottage House offers first class living on the Texas Gulf Coast. The townhome is fully furnished and has 3 floors of custom decorated rooms with modern beach cottage decor. An open concept living / dining / kitchen space on the third floor, with an exceptionally beautiful pool that offers relaxing views of Lake Padre, marshland, and the beach in the distance. All of which allows you and your family and friends to enjoy all the conveniences of home in the relaxed surroundings of beach living. Its great location provides quick access to swimming, fishing, surfing and a variety of delicious dining options. It is positioned very close to the beach with access to a boat slip that is available on a first-come-first-serve basis, as well as a two car garage for convenient and shaded parking. This property is an awesome fit for families or a group of friends that enjoy vacationing together. This 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath unit can sleep up to 10 people in comfort!

The Cottage House Complex is currently under renovations for roof repair and painting. The left side pool gate is closed. Pricing reflects this, and no extra discounts apply. We apologize for the inconvenience.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.

Plenty of Space!
Lots of room to spread out for our large group! Layout was perfect fit for us. Kitchen/living room area had plenty of room for us all to be together. Not too bad of a walk to the beach. Wagon was nice. Garage, small, but nice to have a place to unload. The check-in and out process was easy. wishes/suggestions/hiccups: 1. said 3 showers which was a huge plus with a group with 8 teenage girls....BUT the bottom floor shower never worked. called maintenance and he text me to do something and when we got back to the house I sent him a picture because it is obvious that a piece to make the shower work was missing. then he finally came out. said it would be few days before part came in. so we never got to use the 3rd shower. that was bummer since it was such a perk. 2. water hose to rinse off sand would've been nice...would help the house too. 3. at least 1 full length mirror somewhere...anywhere in the house is needed. again, I had a house of 18 year old girls and no mirror. 4. nothing can do about it but needs a note. water pressure is not good. with only 2 showers working, 8 girls with longhair and bad pressure...let's just say the shower process took a longtime...wet, wash, rinse and repeat....it was beating. I would've given all 5* but the shower was only issue really to make me select 4*.

Father day weekend
Condo was clean and fit my family needs. The master bedroom bathroom shower had no water pressure. The stove vent was leaking water from above. Our vehicles didn’t fit in the two car garage. The parking was far. It was a hassle to unload. The pool area and boat dock was under construction. We were told the boat dock was not to be walked on because it was voltage live. We couldn’t fish off docks because of this .

Nice Place!!
Overall experience was great! Initially had trouble accessing the property; however, the property management company was quick to respond and got us in right away. There was an issue with the hot water, and the property mgt company got someone to check it out but was unable to resolve the issue. Even though we didn’t have hot water, the place was nice and everyone had great time.

Charmante maison au bord de la mer
La maison est propre, agréable, bien localisée, bien meublée. La piscine est aussi bienvenue. La personne qui s’occupe de la location est joignable facilement et très à l’écoute. Petit point négatif : il manque de la vaisselle et des couverts si (comme nous) vous y allez à plus de 5 personnes, et le sèche linge était en panne lors de notre séjour, ce qui ne nous a pas beaucoup dérangé.

Getaway weekend
The house is beautifully decorated, clean and modern. The pool area is very well kept. Great location for our fisherman. The only complaint would be that there weren't enough drinking glasses, we just made due with coffee cups, so not a huge deal. The keycode sent wasn't correct, but a quick call to the property manager and that was resolved immediately. It was an enjoyable place to stay.

Better Than Expected, This Place is a MUST..
Never have stayed in a home where the property felt like my own home, This location was the ultimate rental home, even though it has lots of stairs we loved every inch of this property from the decorations to the appliances in the kitchens, the bedrooms where amazing beds super comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you can need to prepare a good meal, loved the island where people can gather around it and eat and talk the restrooms where spacious and super clean, it had a very modern but still homie feel to it.. the two car garage was enormous it fit both of our cars and one of them was a truck, the pool was nice and just a quick walk from our house. its not too far away from the beach just a 3 min drive to the Whitecap Beach. Not to mention that the Management team was amazing and they made us feel welcome and always quick at responding to any of our messages, all in all we where blown away by this rental home and we are planning on going again and definitely staying here again.

Ideal Location and property
I can’t say enough good things about this townhome! It’s very close to the beach and other things to do in Corpus Christi. It has enough room for over 10+ people without feeling you are on top of each other. I will book this rental again.

Excellent Covid-19 Vacation
We loved the condo, everything was perfect. We were able to use the pool without other people . I think everyone was being thoughtful in this respect due to Covid. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which we did every meal. Our family went on guided fishing trips 2 days and had wonderful, successful trips. I highly recommend this condo.

Nice Home - 1 non working shower - insufficient compensation
The home was very nice and in a great location. Beautiful pool and short trip to the beach and great restaurants. Over all we enjoyed our stay - the only complaint I have is the compensation I was offered for a shower not functioning for the whole trip. We arrived on Thursday evening and left on Sunday (3 night stay). Friday morning my dad tried to take a shower in their bathroom and the shower wouldn’t work. They stayed on the lowest floor because he is having back problems and having surgery in a week so having the lower level bedroom and bathroom was essential for us and the whole reason we chose this rental over another. In the beginning the rental company was helpful and got a plumber out by 2pm. That plumber didn’t have a part so they sent another that evening who didn’t have the part either and said they’d have to order it so it wouldn’t be fixed during our stay. They apologized but that was it. I felt that we should receive compensation for not having a usable shower there so I asked for it. They finally offered a very low amount after I had to ask twice. Also, the floors were not mopped prior to our stay. Our recently turned 1 year old had black knees and feet from crawling and walking in the house. Our feet also got black if we weren’t wearing shoes as soon as we arrived.

It isn’t a beach view, but it is a 1 minute drive in a golf cart or vehicle with everything you need close by! The house is a perfect setup and lots of space!

Comfortable and large enough for six adults and four children. Nice Pool and grilling area. Used a cart to travel to Beach. Area is within driveable distance to grocery store and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay!

Great Family Vacay
My family of 10 really enjoyed the townhome. It was plenty big for 8 adults and 2 kids. It’s location is about 5 minutes from the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. The pool is nice but small. We fished off the dock by the pool. We will definitely return to stay here.

The condo was perfectly located. The condo was very open, spacious, clean and accommodated the family of 10 with more than enough room. The condo was located less than a quarter mile from the beach you could walk or drive. The beach was very clean not too crowded. We loved our stay and plan to go back again in the future.
