“We liked the ability to walk to the ocean or hang out on the Bahia’s beach located on the bay and the easy drive to Old town and San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaworld and Belmont Park. The Dockside 1953 restaurant, located on the property, was an excellent place to end the day sitting next to the fire with a delicious craft cocktail or enjoy a delicious meal. “Everything was great, with the exception of the musty smell in the room. The smell never went away because each and every time you enter the room the musty smell is unmistakably pronounced. However, you’ll get “nose blind” to the smell the longer you are in the room. We were upgraded to the room we were in which looks recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself and the grounds looked clean and well maintained. ”

“All of us (6 adults - 5 children) truly enjoyed our weekend stay at this lovely and spacious home. There was space for all of us to relax, watch tv, play video games, swim, read, cook, and sleep without feeling squeezed in. Plus, there was so much to do at the house that we did not feel the need to go exploring any place else. The host and his team responded promptly to our questions and our needs. “The unit was clean and comfortable. The beds were particularly comfortable, the bathrooms were well maintained and the kitchen had everything necessary to be able to cook and enjoy your stay. “Jenny’s place was the perfect peaceful retreat for my family—an absolute paradise! This house had everything we could have possibly asked for—a giant saltwater pool and jacuzzi, tennis court, ping pong table, screen golf , screen game&movie, a huge trampoline, darts, a putting green, a bunk bed, a widescreen TV with reclining leather seats, Alexa, and a fire pit! I could go on and on! As a parent of two school-aged kids, I was thankful to be at a place where my kids were excited to play outdoors……
