“Enjoyed our stay at Albion. Easily within walking distance of Ypres town centre and many dinner options, the Menin gate ceremony and Flanders Museum. There was ample parking and after vacationing two weeks in Europe, this hotel likely had the best breakfast…despite having stayed at more expensive hotels and chateaux’s . ”

“We stayed for one night in this lovely property while visiting Ypres. The property is full of relics from the war and includes a history trail around the grounds with trenches and information. Immediately behind the hotel however (and you can see people queueing on the slides) is a huge water park - This didnt cause any noise that I noticed but it is out of keeping with the memorial spirit of the hotel and the area. We happen to love a water park, so this was a bonus for us but may not be……

“Reception was very pleasant, but room was bland and cold. Room requires thermostat on radiator - when turned on it heated the room well but then needed to be turned off before the room got too hot. Room needs decoration such as pictures on wall - bland white walls. King bed was two singles pushed together and a sheet over the top. We arrived in the dark and it was raining. Carpark is not lit well and I nearly drove into the fishpond! Saving feature was the restaurant food, which was……

“Really nice hotel and in a great location just 45 mins from Calais. The room was great and overlooked fields and had a really nice balcony. Dinner was great and the wine choices were good too. The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay”
