“Very nice room below the main house. The room was very clean and smelled great. I recommend getting there before dark because it is in a very rural area and it gets very dark very quick this time of year. The house is on a lagoon with the most beautiful Cypress trees. There is a deck out back to sit and enjoy the water, but the owner mentioned there may be some bugs. The water is part of Lake Blackshear, an 8700 acre lake good for fishing and boating. “We were evacuating from a hurricane and this house was a safe place to stay. All necessities were there, but it IS an older home and comes with all that entails. Creaky floors and settling noises. Doors were not air tight, so on the warmer nights bugs were abundant and able to get in. The location was nice, although not near anything. Fenced in yard was good for the dog. Neighbor was very nice and helpful when we had issues with a lock. any really”
