“Lovely small home located right on Lake Blackshear with a very nice fenced yard & a covered dock out back, sitting area and you can fish right from it. Although, we did take fishing equipment we did not fish so sadly no fishing report. The home is located in what I would call an upscale community. Lovely woods are across the road and during our trip we saw 3 deer and quite a variety of birds. We enjoyed the feeders out back & all the red birds. “We were evacuating from a hurricane and this house was a safe place to stay. All necessities were there, but it IS an older home and comes with all that entails. Creaky floors and settling noises. Doors were not air tight, so on the warmer nights bugs were abundant and able to get in. The location was nice, although not near anything. Fenced in yard was good for the dog. Neighbor was very nice and helpful when we had issues with a lock. any really”

“A++ stay at this wonderful lake house! I took my three boys (ages 6-11) for a Labor Day retreat and so happy we chose this place. Colin was extremely easy to communicate with, from the second I messaged him that I was interested in the rental, up until our departure. The house was VERY clean and comfortable. “From the second you turn into the driveway it feels like home. The owners take such good care of the property and there's the most beautiful giant rose bush near the back porch. Everything is a delight. The house is super clean and has adorable decorations plus there's plenty of games to play that are provided.
