“Enjoyed the coziness and reading about the owners journey to renovate and restore the historical cabin. Pretty basic amenities for a five-day stay. We left a day early as we were ready to get back to the luxuries of a full kitchen and indoor bathroom, but we did enjoy the cozy fires in the stove and the walks down to the Sandy River every day. Skiied one day at Timberline and just rested and relaxed. Oh, the bed is actually a double, which was a bit uncomfortable for my 6'3" husband, but we made……

“The location is perfect and the apartment is awesome. It even comes with a parking spot! The apartment has 2 bedrooms but the sliding doors are thin so noise can carry. But overall it was a great place and perfect for us! ”

“Place was very nice but there were a couple of things that could have been better. First, the lighting is not as bright as shown. All the lights are yellow & not very bright at all. The ceiling fan light in one of the rooms didn’t even work. There were some crumbs left in the couch and there was a nasty stain on one of the bed blankets. One of the bedrooms also didn’t lock. The walls are super thin so we could hear the neighbors when they were really loud at night. Other than that, it was a cool……

“Even though I didn't get to stay to long during the day because of work, it was so nice coming in at night to rest and waking up with the sun through the beautiful bedroom window. I really enjoyed my stay!”

“Excellent basement apartment. Very clean and well kept. Privacy was respected. Travel in and out of Portland was easy. Parking was consistently open at front of house. Very pleasant neighborhood. I slept very well and felt very relaxed while there. ”

“This property was so unique and special, the high quality materials used in the suite made a huge difference, it was not a hodge podge of Ikea products (nothing against, Ikea, I love Ikea, I own Ikea lol), but the craftsmanship and love shows. Vicki is also so pleasant and lovely to chat with! Might I recommend to others that if you take care of a rental the way you would your own home, it's a wonderful cycle that will give back to you in your next rental. “Everything worked well. Rained entire trip but still enjoyed. Cooked all meals. Plenty of firewood. ”

“It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely.”

“Beautiful river and neighborhood location. Nearby parks and trails great for walking our dog. Lots of space for family to spread out. Seating was a bit of a challenge (barstool style dining only) and the kitchen needs a cleaning overhaul. Cute chickens near driveway greeted us! Fun surprise. Upstairs additional space was perfect for Grandma to have her own room. Thank you for sharing your home!”
