“Great spot for a couple looking for a quiet place to stay in Lynchburg. Parking can be a littlw tricky if you have a bigger vehicle, but there is usually plenty of street parking of you can't fit into the space provided. Also watch your step when you walk into the Vrbo! There is a bit of a step down I wasn't totally prepared for, but I'm normally a clutz so maybe thats just me :) Overall, great spot, minus my twisted ankle.”

“My husband and I wanted a nice quite place to getaway over the Thanksgiving Holiday and this place was perfect. We enjoyed the hottub and the fireplace. We drove through the Shenandoah Valley and went to the Luray Caverns. We definitely want to come back and explore the the area around the house next time. Zeb was great at giving us suggestions. ”

“My family and I (7 of us) very much enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for everyone and the home was fully equipped with anything we needed. There’s a beautiful park with walking trails that we thoroughly enjoyed as well. I highly recommend. ”

“The property was incredible. If you are looking for a quaint and peaceful place to stay this is for you. The house was perfect, its was open, had exactly what we needed for a good stay, the appliances were great (I really needed to do laundry- so that was a must!), and I loved that it didn’t have a TV, the kids enjoyed being outside, playing in the bunkbeds and it was perfect. The hostess incredible as well. Just overall great stay, will absolutely be coming back to this property when we have to……

“Lovely views and cozy, clean, cabin with great kitchen and lots of extras provided. Our grandchildren came over and enjoyed playing in the big yard and exploring the wooded areas behind the cabin. Love the history of this Family Cabin.”

House is in a perfect location to get to downtown and restaurants. Gorgeous views of the river and seeing the trains rolling by was fantastic! Excellent communication with host. If the opportunity arises, will definitely stay there again!”

“We were here for a wedding in a nearby town and were pleasantly surprised that "Walton's Mountain" was so close. The property met all of our needs, plenty of space, cleanliness and multiple bathrooms. Peaceful surroundings we never heard the goats but saw them every day. Great communication with the hosts, very detailed and everything was ready for us to have a great stay.”
