“We had a lovely stay at this home. The location is very close to downtown and some great places to eat and get coffee. And a nice grocery store nearby. We’d have walked to those except it was 10 degrees out. The craftsmanship in the home is beautiful. You can tell it is a labor of love for the owners. No part of the house has been overlooked. The owners were very helpful when we were in a pinch as well. We would stay again for sure. ”

“I grew up in an old farmhouse and this reminded me so much of that time. Wood floors with rugs and vhs tapes! The trails were fun to walk along and see the Fox river and have kids run out some energy. Then settle in for a night of games in the basement. Quite a unique stay and glad we found it for a relaxing new year stay while skiing at Cascade.”

“Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime.”

“The property was wonderfully located with a beautiful view. It was also exceptionally clean and very well renovated. There were a few nice local restaurants/bars which made the stay even nicer. The only item was when I was told that we parked in the wrong place I responded and indicated the home was wonderful. I never heard back - just kind of seemed weird. I like having a personable connection with the owner but didn't necesarily feel that way here. But still a wonderful stay!”

“I give this rental a five stars overall. The property contact was very responsive. The location so close to the lake is just perfect. Great for a girls weekend away. Only constructive feedback. Is there a couple of things that should be repaired on the property, such as a cracked sink, But nothing that overall affected the functionality of the rental for us. “Had a wonderful first trip to Madison for the entire week of Thanksgiving. The house was absolutely perfect. Clean, cute, warm, perfect location to everything downtown. “There wasn't anything we didn't like about this Boarders. It was very clean, quiet and the staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast had many options to pick from. We will stay there again when we are in the area.
