We love the Broadmoor. This was our third time staying staying at the resort. We celebrated a wedding anniversary. We love the beautiful grounds, large and comfy rooms, and the historic charm & artwork throughout. We have have only visited the resort during the off peak season. We are able to get a more budget friendly stay, the grounds are still beautiful but I imagine during the spring & summer, they look amazing. The only drawback this time was just the seemingly never ending “fees” and feeling a bit nickel and dimed toward the end. After our stay my husband remarked this might be the final stay because of it.
We understand the resort fees, but additional property fees seemed redundant? I think it might be less frustrating to just join the fees into one (yes, the large sum might be shocking, but multiple line items don’t help either). Also, the pickle ball equipment & indoor courts are not included with the resort fee, so bring your own & play outside! Otherwise a very lovely resort that never fails to impress.
