Secluded Mtn cabin on 35 acres! Pikes peak view, Hottub,close to attractions!

Elk Spring Cabin is a secluded mountain getaway! You can feel completely isolated with no other homes in view. It sits on a hill overlooking the spring fed pond below with awesome Pike's Peak views as a backdrop. It is surrounded by pine and aspen trees on 35 fenced and gated acres. Although it feels remote, it is only 1 1/2 miles from US Hwy 24 on a well maintained County Road and only 30 minutes to Colorado Springs or Cripple Creek and very convenient to all local attractions. You can hike the acreage or relax and enjoy the beautiful back deck and patio area. The views of Pikes Peak from the living room, both bedrooms and the back deck are spectacular and you may experience an occasional deer or elk that wander through the property. This cabin shares the same property with Mountain Sun Cabin yet they are not visible from each other. Both cabins can be rented together for larger groups.

After an exciting day of sightseeing, hiking, biking, rafting or shopping, relax in the Hot Tub, located off both bedrooms, perfect for stargazing. You can also sit in the warm Colorado sun on the Deck or Patio area. When it snows, you can bring cross country skis or snowshoes to explore the property or many nearby trails. When you return, cozy up in front of the Stone Fireplace and watch it snow. You are sure to enjoy all of the conveniences of home including high speed Internet, large Flatscreen TV with BluRay DVD player and surround sound. This can all be enjoyed with the beauty, peace and serenity of the Rocky Mountains in this special home. The cabin is cozy and romantic for two, but large enough for the whole family.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway
My wife and I stayed here for 5 days for our honeymoon. We had never done anything related to renting Vrbo homes, and we were relieved to see how easy the process was to book, check in, and check out. There’s information provided at the home so we had every question answered before we even needed to ask! Everything about this home is beautiful. The hot tub was definitely the best part of the chilly mornings and evenings. We definitely want to return in the future with the family. This place contributed to an unforgettable honeymoon.

Weekend Getaway
My husband and I loved this cabin! It was very clean cabin with beautiful scenery. The property was fun to explore and so cool being able to see Pike’s Peak from the windows. Throughout the process Kyle was friendly and easy to work with. We showed up an hour early and our car’s clock was an hour ahead (from KC) so we accidentally scared the cleaning person (so sorry again), but they were wonderful about it and even allowed us to check in a little early, once they finished. We were sad it was such a short trip but will definitely be back!!

The views were amazing, inside and out. The cabin is nice and just what we were looking for. The beds are comfortable, it’s secluded and quiet, and the cabin was clean. The hot tub was relaxing. Weekend Getaway
The property was amazing. It was a bitter cold weekend but the giant living room with gas fireplace, recliners and floor to ceiling windows made it a nice warm spot to relax. The best part of the weekend was the hot tub! Sitting outside looking up at the stars made you forget it was 6 degrees. We will definitely be back again!

Amazing cabin and host!
We stayed here for a week Jan 25th-jan31st and we have the best time! It’s conveniently located to the little town that has anything you could need, and not a far drive to anywhere else! Perfect location looking over the pikes peaks mountains. We actually got engaged in the back yard there in the snow with the most stunning view! We got to see some animals on the land as well! The donut mill, the pantry and Roy’s crew BBQ is a must to check out! Garden of the gods was about 30mins and it was breath taking! On our 2nd to last day we got to witness 6inches of snowfall, and without asking the host came and plowed the driveway and even did the porch! I highly recommend choosing here you won’t regret it! We also LOVED searching for everyone’s dollar bills they creatively hid! Thank you for a great stay! We enjoyed Colorado so much and everyone in woodland park!

Unplugged, quiet, romantic getaway
This is our third stay here. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, unplugged, but close to town and things to do. Don't hesitate. The Eicher's are the most amazing hosts. We will come back year after year. We love this place and think you will to. If you're wondering if you should, DO IT!! You won't regret it.

Our NYE stay was perfect. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and so cozy. We loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and pretty much any kitchen gadget you need. We relaxed and slept right through midnight (possibly missing the fireworks show on Pikes Peak…) because we were so comfortable.

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It was amazingly clean and well taken care of. Beds are comfortable. The views are breathtaking and it is remarkably secluded and quiet. Amazing stay with everything you need
This is the second time we have stayed at the cabin and we are just as happy this time as we were the first. Location is secluded and peaceful, but still very much within driving distance of civilization (Woodland Park) in case you need something. Facilities are excellent and have all amenities necessary for a several day stay. Looking forward to returning again next year :)

There was nothing but great! We have worked with VRBO for many years, this was best experience ever! Kyle, our host is a great communicator and made this stay a joy. The views from the cabin are amazing especially from the hot tub that was cleaner than any we have ever seen. Somehow our host even arranged for the first snow of the season - beautiful. Great Getaway Cabin
Four of us spent 3 nights in this beautiful cabin last week and it was absolutely stunning. The view of Pikes Peak from the back of the house was just amazing. The cabin was everything it was said to be and more. Sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars was a favorite among the four of us. The Owner, Kyle, was was very responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

My wife and I stayed at this lovely cabin over a month and enjoyed every minute. We thought a few of our children might join us and would enjoy the hot tub. That did not happen but the cabin was exceptional for just the two of us. It is in a very quiet part of the forest and the scenery was lovely. Kyle was very responsive to any need we might have.

If you are unsure about whether you should stay here or not….DO IT!! It’s beautiful and while remote, a close enough drive that makes it easy to get where you are going. There is nothing like sitting in a hot tub in the middle of the night and seeing more stars than ever imaginable. We love it so much we are already booked for our next stay. Peaceful Serenity
This property makes you want to talk quietly, walk softly, move more slowly. It is immaculately clean. I cannot stress that point enough. Extremely well equipped with all you need plus things you didn’t know you needed! It is so well built I couldn’t hear my housemates snoring in the next room. lol After your day activities, relaxing on the deck/patio the only unnatural sound you hear is the low hum of the hot tub you are getting into within the hour. We had breakfast visitors on the patio (deer) and daily entertainment from the hummingbirds. If peace & quiet is your idea of vacation do not pass this one up. Within 2 hrs of arrival we wished we had booked for longer. Oh! Did I mention the view? Stunning! Our Easy short drives: Mueller Park, 11 mile Canyon, Cripple Creek/Victor Do not miss Rita the Rock Planter 😊

The best!
The cabin is the best location away from it all but yet not too far from the closest town with stores and food. Also only 30 min from Colorado Springs. The cabins property is beautiful and awesome that you can hike around it. My 2 year old son had the best time there. He just wanted to be outside the whole time, as did we. ☺️ the cabin is also a great size and layout for our little family. Thank you.
