We only stayed one night here, but it was a great experience. The room was simple and although small was nicely put together, comfortable, and clean. It also has has either a view of the marina or the jungle behind the hotel depending on which side of the inn you are on. Since it is a re-purposed building and not built as a hotel it is really more like an inn. There is no lobby as it works side by side with the actual marina, so check in is actually in the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and if we needed something they did their best to help out. It is close to Fort San Lorenzo, Colon, and the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal. Oh and the food....fabulous!
Shelter Bay Marina is here primarily to serve the boating community, but if you are looking for something unique, comfortable, close to some interesting sights, but not in the middle of the city, it is worth a stop!
