Pierre is a very nice host, answered all our questions promptly. We arrived late at night due to a heavy traffic, but it was not an issue to him. We did not meet him in person, which is a pity, but I must tell he won a lottery with Florence and her partner, who was helping us during the whole stay and was very nice to us. The appt is as it looks at pictures, cosy and light but surprisingly not too warm even in high july (there is no AC there, but we did not need any actually). However we needed to keep the windows opened which was a bit problematic as there are hundreds of mosquitos all around and there are no nets in the windows (act.there is one in the bedroom but unfortunatelly broken at the time). So just be aware of it and bring enough repellent). It has no outdoor area where to sit and relax, but there is a big window right at the kitchen table with a breathtaking view of Collioure fortress and the sea which we loved. The house is surrounding by trees and flowers and behind the house there is a green space that can be used to dry laundry. Right behind the house there is a railway so be aware trains make quite a noise especially in the morning, but they are not too often. Concerning facilities we had everything we needed and even more (dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker etc).
