“Leisure facilities excellent -included in the stay. Property in a great location for Telford and Shrewsbury. Room was basic ( 34) bed a bit hard and no hair drier. Service did not bring clean cups in morning after or replenish milk,biscuit. Meal on Monday was fine ( fish and chips a little basic for £18-95!) Bar quite dear. Breakfast was OK.Staffing very light -seemed one person on Monday evening ! Value for Money. Recommend room 35 -bigger and quieter.”

“We paid for an upgrade to have a view of the Ironbridge Gorge, not sure what we expected but it view was mainly off an overgrown busy in front of the window. :) the hotel was nice, they pool area was good, breakfast was excellent.”

“The hotel location is good and walking distance from shopping center. Restaurant staff, including Hellen and Luizer are very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. But the hotel is little bit old and not clean. I stayed 9 nights and will consider to live here again next time.”

“这里靠近公路，比较容易找，位置在开发区内，晚上安静。因为是品牌酒店，所以提供基本的服务。很多英国小酒店是家庭式的，楼梯狭窄，没有电梯。相比较，还是这种品牌酒店更方便，尤其是你带着很重的行李时，有电梯简直是天大的好处。当然酒店房间千篇一律，不如老式楼房有情调。看你的需要。”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“Good for an overnight stay if in the area in business etc. Shower curtains are a bit dated and unhygienic. Reception,bar and lounge staff were exceptional. ”

“We chose the Old Rectory as it was close to family/friends that we were visiting. Not only was it convenient it was a great hotel with such friendly and welcoming staff. The gardens around are also beautiful.”

“Simple straight forward, pick up keys and enjoy the area. The pub offer some tasty choices and Apple desert ticks the box. Room was large without being too big and with windows front and back plenty of natural light. Heating was just right with an additional portable heater if needed, but didn't need it. They also provide an Iron and Ironing board which is a nice touch. My one niggle was there is no heating in the bathroom, as the weather was mild it's not an issue but come November it might,……
