Welcome to your charming A-frame cabin in the woods! This little gem sits right on Lake Coeur d’Alene and offers lovely water views from the deck, where you’ll also find lots of comfy seating, a gas grill, and a patio heater. The stunning view continues inside, thanks to an entire wall of windows. This is a historic cabin, one of the first on Kidd Island Bay, and does include narrow stairways inside and bumpy footpaths outside. It is very common to see eagles, osprey, deer, and other wildlife from the deck. You’re just steps away from a sandy swimming beach managed by the local beach association. You also have access to a dock (shared with one other home), so if you’ve brought a boat, now might be the time to take it out for a spin. A canoe, stand-up paddleboard, and lifejackets are available on-site for use at your own risk.
Kidd Island Bay Cabin Retreat is in a uniquely fantastic location to be your headquarters as you explore the activities and attractions that abound in the Coeur d’Alene area. Attractions less than 90 minutes away by car include: Downtown Coeur d’Alene (20 minutes), Silver Mountain scenic gondola and mountain bikes (50 minutes), Lookout Pass summer scenic ski lift rides (75 minutes), Schweitzer scenic ski lift and zip line rides (90 minutes), Silverwood theme park and water park (40 minutes), Mica Bay Boater Park 8866 S Loffs Bay (10 minutes), Cougar Bay Preserve trails (10 minutes), Fernan Lake Natural Area (20 minutes), Town of Sand Point (60 minutes), Triple Play Family Fun Park (25 minutes), downtown Spokane (50 minutes), Inland Northwest Rail Museum (75 minutes), historic town of Wallace (60 minutes), and the historic town of Kellogg (50 minutes). After a day full of activity, or maybe just rest and relaxation, return to your cabin and stream your favorite shows on the TV, or just enjoy some solitude, before drifting off to sleep.
