Coastal South Carolina Historic Hotel

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"Beautiful space, and polite but sparse staff. We were handed a QR code for breakfast but didn’t realize we needed to order in advance to have it ready when we needed to eat (headed out to a tour, so on a tight schedule). Could find front desk person at 10:30 PM, and beautiful rooftop deck isn’t staffed until late afternoon. "

"Lovely stay, close to shopping, activities, night life. Breakfast and happy hour were very good."

"The location of The Francis Marion is close to everything. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and areas of history. "
