“The rooms are big and clean. A good experience in the hotel.”

“The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. ”

“Beautiful house and location. The breakfast was great. I had the French toast both day. Our hosts were friendly and gave us some good tips. The house is in the country so you have to drive a few miles to the closest restaurants.”

“Love this hotel and you must have dinner in the Catalina restaurant. The staff are fabulous so friendly and knowledgable. We met the head chef who was so welcoming and interesting, I really enjoyed our chat. Breakfast was gorgeous, lots of choice and proper breakfast sausages, we will be back!!!”

“It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”

“The hotel and spa were lovely. Our hotel room didn't have hot water or a functioning shower. We let the staff who who compensated us with an upgrade on our next visit which is very nice of them to do. ”

“Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. ”
