This was the second time staying here in the past month. What was a little frustrating was that I had prepaid reservations for a week, I called 20 minutes before arrival to double-check on parking and spoke to a real person. Two options, valet for $49/night or self-parking for $30 . When I got there I pulled into the self-park and nothing happened with the machine. After a few minutes, a grumpy member of the valet came out and said you can't park here. No "Hey sorry this is out of order" or "Here are your other options". I had to ask what options. In a grumpy putout sort of way, he said "You got valet". I asked if there were other options. He said there was another parking garage but gave no direction or information. I couldn't have been the first to have needed help. It was 10 pm and snowing after a gig I had and wasn't really the time to drive around and call. I suppose if I couldn't afford $50 for valet I shouldn't have been staying there but the $149/night price was reasonable. Is it understandable things break, absolutely, just the response was extremely unhelpful and probably multiplied by the fact that I had just called to check on appropriate parking. In any case, it left a little bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunate! The room was pristine and very clean.
