“Property is old with several stains in the carpet. The mini fridge wouldn't turn on and the vent in the bathroom didnt work with wires hanging from it. The bed was clean and the ac was cold and thats all I really needed. It was good for a shower and safe place to sleep but dont count on extras. Room was priced accordingly. ”

“We loved “Doc’s Cottage”. We found it to be a peaceful place to rest while attending a conference nearby. We were so thankful for the quiet. We loved the back porch and listening to the birds sing. “I can’t think of one thing that would have made this property better. It was amazing. The property is situated on the Current River with all the creature comforts you may want. Our family of 4, ages 38-65, really enjoyed ourselves kayaking, fishing and cooking together. ”

“We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside home. So relaxing to sit by the lake in the morning with hot chocolate and a book watching the wildlife. Owner is great. Would love to stay again if back in the area again. Only wish our stay was longer.”
