「Stayed for one night so that we could see Pompeii. Very early to get the Metro and then carry on to Pompeii from the main train station. The host contacted us the evening before to check arrival time and even kindly allowed us to leave our big bag at the property whilst we went off to explore. 「This spacious, historical site is located near Dante Square, the metro, and tons of shops. The bathroom seems newly renovated and if you desire, the flat is well-appointed with everything you need to make your own meals. (An unexpected gem is the fantastic grocery store right around the corner--we were able to save significant money making some of our meals ourselves with the fresh pasts and sauces we found there.) 「The apartment was clean and tidy. There were one or two gripes. There wasn't a kettle in the kitchen so we used the hob to boil water for coffee in the morning. Halfway through the holiday, the host offered to clean the apartment but at our cost and said that the linen change is scheduled regularly at no cost We said that we would keep the apartment clean during our stay. However, there was no linen change during our entire 2 week stay which we found strange. Apart from that, we had a good stay.」

「The access to this property is not easy (lots of narrow and windy roads) but it is very secluded up in the hills. There were 7 people in our party and we are aware there is another bedroom which is open to let so you may end up sharing the pool/accomodation if this is leased. There is also an apartment below owned by the same villa owners which means you can expect visits from Claudio or other unexpected staff "passing through on their way to the other property..." not too intrusive but be aware...
