「Looked after extremely well. Not certain about the lack of amenities in the double room for disabled people. Nowhere to hang bathroom robes or wash bags and for a non-disabled person the wash basin was extremely low, small and difficult as an older person to use. 」

「Lovely little traditional pub with rooms. The room I was in was very cosy, but had plenty of space. Really comfortable bed and also a chair to enjoy a relaxing sit down and a cup of tea. Some noise from the bar on the Friday evening, but not going on until very late. Good, locally sourced breakfast and friendly staff.」

「Pros : Great welcome from Jack. Shown to room 3 which was a double en-suite. Perfectly adequate for us. Nice clean bedding and a clean shower and wc. The room was tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. A small compact room with a well stocked tea tray. The weather was lovely so it was great to open the window fully for a nice breeze. 「This is above a pub 2 minutes from the station. Eaglescliffe is a nice place to stay though there isn't much around the station to look at. The hotel is a bit basic but clean and good value for money.」

「Overall good. Beautiful room and hotel. Room very hot though and unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't fix the problem. It was 24 degrees permanently. We had to leave the wondow open and the duvet off. Beautiful food in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast ok, nothing special. 」

「A truely lovely pitstop. I was made to feel really welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Only slight downside was there was no phone signal and the wifi was sketchy, but absolutely perfect to get away from it all. Located in a beautiful area for walking/running/cycling」

「I found the Old Oak Tree team to be very welcoming. The room size was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pub does evening meals and has a great choice of dishes to suit all palates. Whilst booking a table is definitely recommended as the venue is very popular both locally and further afield for their dishes. I can highly recommend the Old Oak Tree, I will certainly be staying there again. The Old Oak Tree is in the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. 」
