「What a great find, lovely friendly pub with rooms. Room was spotless as the whole premises. Couldn't fault the evening meal or the breakfast ( probably the best we have had for some time. We will definitely revisit.」

「Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.」

「Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. 「The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. 」

「We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay 」
