"Really lovely hotel, location is ideal to get out and about around Whitby with a view of the abbey and the whale arches at your doorstep. The bed was super comfortable and a big smart tv in the room too which I know isnā€™t a big deal for some people but we like to watch a film before bed. My only issue I had was when we were checking in, we got to the hotel around 8:30pm which is understandable that it is way past check in time but there was nobody on reception so we had to wait around for 20 mins until someone finally noticed us as there wasnā€™t a bell or anything to try get attention. I understand they were probably helping out in the bar etc as it was very busy but it just made us feel a bit ignored and not valued as a guest."
