“The property is very nicely maintained. Pool is small but clean. I stayed at the Classic room which was in the original house. Room was big but unfortunately very dark. Windows don't open. Otherwise, the room has everything. Good tea bags. The food at the hotel was good but they charge a lot of money for tax and service fee. That could be avoided. Food was tasty. “Reserved thro expedia for a week. When call them that we were running late and checking a bit late , the guy Rajan told no longer the reservation is honoured and cancelled. So diagusting and rude was that. We flew from Far far away ie Toronto and this is so horrible and shocking .first time we ever had to face such a situation at last minute. “Converted Villa with 4 rooms in Jaffna suburbs. Nicely converted with pool, garden and small dining area. Accommodation roomy but with no natural light. TV with several English language channels - news and other. Good air conditioning and kettle provided. Hosts are helpful and on hand, this is definitely more of a home stay than a hotel.
Food is available but needs to be brought in from outside. Breakfasts were good - ordered the night before.

“Mahesa Bhagwan was the highlight of our time in Sri Lanka without a doubt - if you are tossing up whether to book, I hope this review convinces you!
