“Lovely place, with beautiful reception area, you see that it has been grand. However you also see that the hotel overall is old and in need of renovation. the pool needed cleaning (but that was general for all our stays in Botswana) and the bar at the pool was closed in the afternoon!! They was 2 girls but the answer was closed!! Luckily a young man came by and he accommodated us (we saw that he walked to the other bar to get our orders) We had a massage all 3 and it was really good.”

“The garden surrounds and leafy setting around the accommodation were lovely. The soft furnishings in the restaurant areas were tired and a bit grubby. Dinner and breakfast was uninspiring with ordinary presentation. We found a restaurant in town that served much better food. We stayed in a glamping tent, which was fine. Suggest that the tents need a mirror in the bathroom and a bedside table. Towel racks or hooks in the bathroom would have enabled towels to dry. Staff were attentive and……

“Amazing 3 nights at this hotel. Firstly greeted by Shingi at reception who told us everything we needed to know, and also pre-booked transfers for us by e mail in advance. Rooms are really nice, comfortable & clean. Showers are great considering the location. Communal dining in the evening is a great way to meet new friends and share experiences. “Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. ”

“Amazing hotel, spacious and clean. I stayed for 3 nights. They help with the overall guest experience while in Kasane and the service is great. The food is always on point. I just wish they could add a fitness facility.”

“Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. The same is true of the game drives, one was incredible, the other was quite mediocre. Food too, sometimes was exceptional (like the BBQ at the poolside bar), at……
