The hostess of this property was pleasant, easy to work with and always available, which was great. That said, the property was a disappointment. No where in the listing did it state that cats were part of the property. They roamed freely and we saw them on the counter in the kitchen which was disconcerting. Also the curtains in our room were falling off the rods and the towels were gray from age. We recognize this property was described as full of antiques and charm, but it was very cluttered and everything seemed worn and in need of refreshing. The breakfast was sparse and the bread/pastries seemed like day old items. We wanted to like this property, but it was not as expected based on previous ratings.
