The property was under construction while we were there. This was both good and bad. The parts that were complete looked great, but the entrance area had a big chunk blocked off and there were construction items on our floor.
Our room looked newly renovated and very cute, however the electric cook top wasn’t working properly. There were two cook rings. One didn’t work at all, while the other was only marginally functional. We rented a room with a kitchen so we could cook dinner, and it took forever due to the cooker issue. Also, the shower was so short that I had to tilt up the shower head and I’m not even 5’8”. On the positive side, the water pressure was good and the bed was comfy.
As for the people there, the other hotel guests and the overnight staff member at reception were so friendly. They were all a highlight! However, the people working the front desk in the evening and in the morning were cold and unfriendly (at least to me - apparently my husband had better luck!).
Another factor in our choosing this hotel was the electric charger for our car. While there was a charger, there was only one, and a plug-in hybrid car was plugged into it the entire time.
We ultimately regretted choosing this property.
