「5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. 」

「Margaret was very friendly and informative about the town and the festival. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at her cottage. 」

「We stayed at Crackin View for a long weekend just before Christmas for our annual family Christmas holiday. Ages ranging from 5 - 65 with quite a few teenagers. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plently of room and commual areas for our large family, the living room was a great layout for playing family games. 「Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. 」

「The property was situated in a small hamlet about a 10 minute drive from Kelso. The accommodation was beautiful and spacious with everything you might need. Beds comfy, sofa not so much. We used a local taxi and got a takeaway delivered one night. Lovely accommodation in a quiet aetting. 」

「We asked that a different email be used on 9/4 as i no longer have access to the email used. No acknowledgment of this was received. Again we asked on 9/22, the day before our checkin, that you use our new email provided. Absolutely no response to our request, no one responded to our request or answer the "emergency" no. We received the passcode by text, and a response TO that text went unanswered as well. Extremely disappointed. Will not use Vrbo again.」

「La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky.」

「This is a superb cottage, finished to an excellent standard and very well equipped. There is no phone signal or WiFi which some people may not like but for us that just added to the feel of having a proper getaway in The Borders countryside. You can’t walk on the immediate estate but that really doesn’t matter as there are plenty of walks in the area. What made a big difference was the warm welcome from Julie who looks after the property and who provided a number of extras for us on arrival,...

「Lovely accommodation, castle rooms felt a little tired but the bathrooms were excellent. The drawing room space is a wonderful retreat. The bar is not staffed as often as I’d expect and it was occasionally challenging to get a mid morning coffee. The spa staff were pretty unfriendly about small children coming through the entrance due to treatments taking place but they have set children’s swim time of 9-10 and 4-5 so these policies and practices seemed at odds with one another.」

「We've just returned from a two night stay at Ednam House hotel. Its a hotel with a traditional feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a courtyard view. On the other side is the most magnificent river views. Breakfast was nice and staff extremely pleasant. Wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend to anyone considering a visit 」
