“This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated. “This place is magical and so so relaxing we never wanted to leave. Each night I was so relaxed listening to the river and hiking through the day that I slept a solid 9 hours each night. “The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. “We spent a couple of nights at this lovely quaint cabin while traveling through Tennessee. It far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, watch the snow fall and be entertained by the peacocks, read and just enjoy the beauty of the property.
