“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. “Very welcoming manager and staff, fantastic dinner options that were extremely good value for money and a very handy location to get to the Staffordshire Showground. The only thing that was a bit odd was that, while our room was freshened up every day, the sink didn't get cleaned at all. My husband is a bit of a messy shaver and I am always very happy not to have to deal with the aftermath when staying in a hotel, so I was very surprised to find that part of the bathroom still untouched both……

“I am impressed with the level of cleanliness within the apartment and the room I stayed in. It was also easy to self chekin. Two things I wasn't particularly impressed about were: 1. the stairs leading up to the apartment looked really untidy, greatly contrasting with the neatness within the apartment. 2. There was a strong smell of cigarette in the room I stayed in for 2 days despite a very conspicuous no smoking sign. I was not sure where this came from. I suggest you work on improving……

“Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds .”

“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any……

“Stayed for 4 nights while working in the area. Everything about the hotel was really good. Friendly and pleasant staff. Great food especially the Indian menu. Stayed in one of the Garden rooms which was very spacious and comfortable. ”

“Stayed here as i was attending a conference at the same site, and the price was great, plus it included my evening meal and breakfast. Last year i stayed at another hotel further away, and meals had to be bought off-site, so this was a much better option for me this time. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back next year.”
