The Good: Super Cute B&B with lots of great public spaces and a wonderful breakfast. Our host, Alan, was responsive and informative. The B&B itself is a converted church. There are lots of places to sit and relax. There is also lots of magazines and games as well as two TVs in the public areas. There is coffee, tea, soda, and even wine available. The well water tastes fantastic. Alan has a pet Cockatoo who is well trained and friendly. He brought the bird out at breakfast and we could pet him or have him sit on our arm of shoulder. The wifi worked great.
The Bad: The bed could be more comfortable. The sheets were soft but there was a hole in the fitted sheet. The mattress was a bit rickety. Sadly, a guest sleeping in the room adjacent to ours snored loudly all night. There was also a skylight in the room which meant light waking me up earlier than I would have liked. I should have brought an eye mask and ear plugs.
Other Info: Breakfast was served at 9 am. There was delicious yogurt, fresh fruit and granola. The hot foods served were scrambled eggs, bacon, and a french toast like dish which was delicious. There was also bread for toast as well as coffee, tea, and orange juice.
