There are 2 buildings to this property. The one you check in at and the one next door that has outside stairs - 3 levels. I was checked in very fast - rushed actually - handed my door card and sent me on my way. I had to go back out and when I returned, of course, I went to the main building 3rd floor. There wasn’t a room 361. I thought the wrong number was written down. Went to front desk to learn that I was actually in the next building. Who would have known? I had to lug my stuff back to the car and park at the next building, go up 3 flights of stairs to discover I had been out in a room that had been smoked in.
I called the front desk from my cell phone (since the room phone didn’t work) 5 times. The last time I was out on hold and ended up hanging up and calling back. I told the new front desk person to just refund my money. By this time it was 11:45pm. I logged my stuff back down to the car and back over to the front desk. She found a room in the main building and moved me instead. By this time I was beyond frustrated. Proper training and communication is needed at their front desk.
The room: it is an old hotel that has been updated with bedding and fresh paint. I don’t have any complaints except the ice machine didn’t work so I was back down 3 floors once again to get ice. It was quiet, clean, comfortable beds and pillows.
Not a bad place but make sure you know which building they put you in because if you can’t do stairs you won’t want the “older” building
