"The accommodation was perfect for the price. Comfortable bunk beds, great shower, clean, hot and strong pressure. Other guests were quite and considerate. We had a private 4 bed dorm for our family. Convience store very close by, yummy breakfast to buy, good atmosphere in the reception area/cafe. Small laundry facility with directions to a bigger one if you need to wash more. We had a great stay, walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. "

"Pros: the location is quiet and great for a slower pace. There is a convenience store 2 minutes walk and the train station is about 4min walk. There are restaurants around the neighborhood, bars, and shopping. Cons: No washcloths, no space in room for suitcases, no seating or chairs in room, no staff available just a phone number, no changing of linen during stay or cleaning during stay (we stayed 6 days). There are clean towels available daily which was a plus and a full length mirror. ...

"By far the best hostel in the downtown area of Tokyo. Very clean and respectful environment yet there are events and areas that encourage socialization. "

"I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. While not necessarily the closest place to tourist spots, it is very close to Asakusa-bashi train station, making it very easy to get around Tokyo. The surrounding area is foot traffic friendly and there's plenty to see, (the entire suburb is sprinkled with bead/ jewellery making supply shops which was a...

"I loved staying here during my trip to Tokyo. Is right next to the station so it’s suuuper convenient. Place was clean, common area was tidy and cute as well. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back if i ever go back to Japan. :) "

"Literally avoid this hotel at all costs. There was literal blood in the showers, most of the guests were American and of course, they're very loud obnoxious and selfish. In the capsule room they were walkinf with shoes on, speakinf loudly at 7am and so on. I feel bad for the manager working because she did her best but what can you do with selfish tourists?"

"Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose. "

Just right for first time in Tokyo

"Happy I chose this hotel. A very convenient location to JR and metro lines and my room had a spectacular view of Shinjuku! The room is small, like most big city mid-priced hotel rooms — but was just enough for one person and the bed was comfortable for absorbing my jet lag! Room service is offered for amenities but not for food/beverage. Cafe on 1st floor is convenient, but not open late night. Breakfast buffet was excellent. "

"Contemporary design, fantastic staff and very comfortable basic room. Location is great. Nearby the gracery so it’s easy to find on a map. Near all the entertainment and nearish the subway. This place is a winner!"

"Third time staying at this hotel and it was great as always! Staff is overall friendly, helpful, and professional. Room was tidy and presentable. Location is next to subway station and near restaurants and convenience stores. Short walk to main Shinjuku hub as well! Staff was also helpful enough to book a taxi to Haneda airport for me. Only recommendation I’d have for the hotel compared to others is it would be nice to have a complimentary water included in the hotel room. But overall, another great stay and I highly recommend!"
