“Property was beautiful...We had alot of fun on our girls trip...”

“My daughter-in-law and I stayed here on our overnight hiking trip. The house was perfectly clean and well-stocked. We both slept well and had a wonderful time. We especially appreciated not having to do anything before checking out… just locked the door behind us! We both said we’d stay here again!”

“Great property layout, with the pond and fire pit to keep the group under the stars in the evenings. Lots of sleeping space in the house but could have used a bathroom on the lower level where many people slept. Overall a nice secluded spot to hang out with the boys.”

“Nice place to get away from it all. The grounds are very walkable, with hiking trails right there on the property. We enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch and also BBQing. We spent time at Johnston Shutins state park and Elephant rocks SP, both within 30 minutes of rental. Very clean and well cared for property.”

“We loved the Ironton Bungalow! We needed a quick weekend getaway from STL and this was perfect. We took advantage of the close proximity to Elephant Rocks and Johnson’s Shut ins, and stopped at two coffee shops in town. The house was bigger and better than how it appeared in the pictures and super clean! It was our first trip with our dog and the yard and dog supplies (while mostly unneeded) were a nice touch. We hope to be back!”

“This place is such a hidden gem. I was astounded at how well maintained the property was given its size. Absolutely beautiful! It was like stepping back in time to the summer camp in Dirty Dancing! The other side of our cabin was also rented out, but insulation was great, we couldn't even hear the other guests. Everything was cute and comfy and immaculately clean. It stormed (really bad) 2 of our nights and we just sat on the front porch watching, so relaxing. I cannot wait to come back here……
