“We made a last-minute booking because we were uncertain about our ability to travel due to the snowstorms on the passes. Upon checking in, the gentleman who assisted us was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He offered us a room upgrade, which was a great gesture. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the entire casino. ”

“Right on the main drag through Salida so convenient. Room was nice. We heard our neighbors a bit more than in some hotels but it was a weekend. Not set up for convenient phone charging (USB and a multitude of power plugs). Nice lobby ambiance. Breakfast area was small but you could always go back to your room. ”

“I have stayed here a few years back before the remodel. The new floors look nice, but my shoes stuck to them with every step. It was not that way in the bathroom, so I know my shoes were clean. I don't know if it was the cleaning product that was used, leaving a residue? Had my shoes on the whole time though, because I didn't want to walk in my socks/bare feet. Otherwise, it was a quiet stay with friendly staff.”

“It was our only destination for the trip so everything we needed was there except the pool and hot tub. They are on the sister property and this wasn't advertised this way so if that is a priority I would recommend the other property. Since it was winter night and cold we just skipped it”

“Nice hotel right of the street. Town is a 2 min drive away which is great. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. They have sleds you can borrow for the kids if you forgot to bring your own and a bonefire for smores all provided by the owner. We had a great visit. ”
