“This is a beautiful beach house, right on the water. Lots of amenities and upgrades. We loved the screened porch and upstairs deck. We were fine with the spiral stairs but they may be potentially challenging for some guests. The area is a little isolated and the beach was quiet in mid-October, which was perfect for us! I highly recommend this property.”

“Wish we could stay longer. Facing the water, turn right for a beautiful sunset and turn left for a beautiful sunrise. The beach is one house away and our dog enjoyed running on the beach and exploring the sandbars. A fifteen-minute walk to the Eastpoint lighthouse. We did a hike a short drive away to Thompson's Beach. Apparently, October is a great time for catching crabs. Also enjoyed the firepit and having smores.”

“This place was a great stay. We went with our best friend’s family and grandparents tagged along as well to make memories with the kiddos. The house accommodated two families of 4 and 3 grandparents very comfortably. Pretty close to everything. Ocean city was close by, Atlantic City for the adults was in good distance. The new kids Waterpark at the Showboat was also close to the home. We loved everything about this summer vacation. From the great host Tina, to the cozy fire pit for our s’mores……

“The Captain's Cottage was the perfect place for our visit to Delaware. We were a quick drive to events at the Woodlands at Dover Speedway, and less than an hour away from Rehoboth Beach, which is highly recommended. “We absolutely loved staying in this pet friendly home while our son was racing at NJMP. Usually, we are concerned when staying in pet friendly places because of the cleanliness, but this home was absolutely immaculate! We loved the big backyard and 2 fire pits. The covered deck was wonderful to be able to relax out of the sun and play card games at night. The beds were very comfortable and we also appreciated there being a washer dryer. “The property was in great location. Secluded and quiet. We all loved it. There are two suggestions I would make. The outdoor furniture needs some updating. Some of the chairs were rickety. Also please let rectors know stores and restaurants are a minimum of half an hour away. Not a problem but would be good to know. We did find a great restaurant in Port Norris…. The Red Eyed Crab. Great place. Open only Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.”
