“Great spot to relax and unwind. There is no TV or microwave but the wood stove was an amazing bonus; so relaxing to have a live fire in December. All other ammenities were available (pots/pans/silverware, etc.) We took a laptop and the Internet was SOLID as we streamed movies from the kitchen table. No interruptions whatsoever. The couch and bed were so comfy. We met our host; she was so friendly. Would do this again. Highly recommend. ”

“The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!”

“Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do……

Scottland Yard is a dream getaway for anyone who wants to experience the perfect mix of farm life and luxury - yes, apparently this is possible. Catching up with the farm animals, the magnificent mountain and rolling hill views, incredibly well thought out interior designs and property layout, the fine attention to detail with……

“The location is amazing and as described. However, upon arrival hours past check-in the host didn't know I was coming and had yet to provide check-in info. Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove.”
