“We stayed in this wonderful rustic hunting lodge with a group of 7 adults. Pete and Sherry were attentive hosts and the house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Located about 30 minutes from Ithica, it’s on 30 acres so very private. The memorabilia from 30 years of hunting expeditions and events held at their event hall were very cool. We’d definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Had such a wonderful time staying at this unique property. Everything was exactly as described online and Ken was easy to work and coordinate with. Very cozy and comfortable. “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love……

“Nice cabin, quiet location. Beds are firm but comfortable and all necessities provided. House is creaky and if you stay in the lower bedroom you hear every sound from the loft. Not unbearable but if you are a light sleeper not ideal. Water did have a sulfur smell to it but it was explained in the house info book. Communication with host was great. ”

You can tell every log was cut by hand with little personal touches added here and there over the years . It has Everything ya need and nothin ya don't. Its perfect.
