“We booked this over a year ago before our wedding and the host was very quick at responding and answering our questions. The groomsmen and their dates and my family loved it! This is a great location for it all, one thing to be aware, we had it in June and it was perfect weather to have windows open. There is no AC but only AC units in some rooms if needed. Beds were comfy and plenty of space! Our wedding party had plenty of space and rooms to choose from even the detach apartment had its own……

“I really enjoyed my stay in Brooklin. Our plans had changed and I had time to kill in Maine before the start of our usual vacation on Mount Desert Island. This place was perfect. Clean and comfortable, the small cottage was perfect for me or a couple. The views from the living room and porch go for miles across the Gulf of Maine to the nearby islands. The yard was filled with beautiful wild flowers and a maze (of sorts) had been bush-hogged which ultimately lead to two Adirondack chairs perched……

“I want to choose my words carefully when reviewing this beautiful little space because it would be a shame not to capture how magical it truly is. Although I fear my words will not do it justice. Beautifully laid out and decorated, this little gem is warm and welcoming. The host, Peggy, was super sweet and professional. I was greeted with a lovely little message on the chalkboard and a delicious chocolate cupcake. There was water and coffee available and the quaint little kitchen provided……

“The house was well stocked with all the essentials such as paper goods, etc. The kitchen is a cook’s dream. The scenery is beautiful out of the dinning room area. The house is located in quiet and pleasant environment. I. Addition the house is conveniently located to all types of activities such as hiking, restaurants, winery, etc.”

“The apartment is comfortable. However we were expecting a bathroom lock, we have to warn the family about not entering. Also the rooms need a mirror for the ladies, they take time to arrange themselves and used the bathroom for hours.”
