“It is a good place to stay if you are in for a few weeks. The kitchen is good if you are doing simple cooking. On the other hand cooking involving boiling frying causes water to condensate as the air is humid as well. It is close enough to amenities. You need to be able to walk reasonably well. ”

“We loved the peaceful mature landscape setting at Alfagar ApartHotel. The Prestige Apartment Hotel units where we stayed are Ideal for Senior’s and Retiree’s the comfort, beautiful Sea views from the large sunny terraces, and easy short walk to restaurants. “For the cheap price we paid, we were very pleased with our stay. Pros - spacious apartment, good shower, indoor and outdoor pools, basically equipped kitchen, kettle, hairdryer on request at reception, excellent maid service, fresh towels daily, shower gel and hand wash provided in bathroom, lots of drawers and cupboard space and hangers provided Cons - dated decor, sofa bed is not great even for 2 kids to sleep on, kitchen could have had some basics such as a scouring pad and washing liquid,……

“The hotel was in a perfect spot for us, two middle age gents over for the weekend playing some golf. Close enough to the old town craziness for a drink and some food but not on your doorstep. It is also in the perfect spot to pick up the main road and get to the courses. We never waited more than 2min for an Uber. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast buffet served its purpose. “Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“Great place for a girls weekend to catch up with friends. Spacious accommodation with a fab balcony Just a few things to note. Accommodation units are all individual so you don’t know quite what you will get. Units can be difficult to find as it’s a very large complex. “Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices. Just one note when I leave a message through th QR code so they can deliver extra needs to the room, they did in the first time and miss the second message. 4.5 stars……

"Everything is perfect. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices.
