“I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. There is someone at the reception desk til dusk, then a security guard is there overnight. There is parking on site. The suite is large, clean and has a washing machine and a large……

Entrando nell'appartamento siamo stati colpiti dal cattivo odore, dalla scarsa pulizia e dal fatto che ci fosse solo un letto e un divano. La descrizione però parla di 4 posti letto. Abbiamo dunque chiamato il proprietario pensando a un errore. L'affittuario ha invece confermato che l'appartamento era giusto e che se non era……

“Geweldig verblijf met aardige, vrolijke gastvrouw ! Locatie is in een mooie villawijk: rustig en met een prachtig uitzicht. Fijn om een ruime tuin te hebben met tafel, stoelen en ligbedden. Auto kan ook op eigen terrein geparkeerd worden. Besef wel dat het huis uit 2 delen bestaat. Je verblijft in het onderste deel. Het bovenste deel wordt ook verhuurd maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad. ”

Outside - the photos on the listing are out of date - there are no longer any bushes surrounding the garden, it is all fenced in with white metal fencing. The house is now painted white, not peach. The outside furniture is very dated and worn (some broken parts) and needs to be……

“Overall the property and location were good. However, the villa would benefit from some "routine maintenance" which would have given it 5 stars from us. When we arrived, the dishwasher didn't work. We reported it and 3 days later, they took the old one away and left us with nothing for the rest of our stay. When we used the sink to hand wash the dishes, it leaked dirty water all over the kitchen floor due to poor plumbing. One of the air conditioning units needed maintenance as it sprayed ice……
