Exceeded expectations!

I thought that the house looked great from the online description and it was all that and more! It was well appointed, comfortable with lots of room for us to feel like we had our own space but could be together will be wanted. Lovely neighborhood and gorgeous beach!

Comfort and Comraderie

We loved that there was plenty of sleeping space for all and a comfortable open gathering area for games and dinners, etc. With three levels, the elevator was a game-changer for getting luggage in on arrival and out on departure. Our only complaint was the scarcity of kitchen needs for cooking and serving. The “not-too-far” walk to the beach was great exercise, even for the seniors. We had a great time!

The house was very nice except there was 1 dead cockroach found on floor of 1 bedroom. The lock kept sticking and was hard to unlock or lock. We arrived at 1:30 am due to roads being closed and high traffic, and we couldn’t get in because the deadbolt was stuck, even after I put in the code and waited.

Lots of beach towels provided as well as beach gear. The elevator worked great and we loved all the board games! We really had no issues so I had no reason to really reach out for any assistance once we arrived. We were in very close proximity to tons of shops and restaurants and of course the beach. There is a very close trail nearby that we walked our dog on. We were sad to leave!

There were 13 of us who drove from Ohio to celebrate my dad's 88th birthday (he lives in Wilmington). There was plenty of room for everyone and we never felt crowded at all. The short walk to the beach and all the beach items available for our use was very much appreciated! We had rented from A1 before on several occasions and this unit was not quite as "kitchen stocked" as others but still definitely manageable. We had a few questions upon arrival and staff was very responsive and friendly. That is why we LOVE using A1 Property Management for our visits south!

May 2024 Stay

Gorgeous property, well appointed, had everything we could need. Elevator was a blessing with the older family members. Comfortable beds, nice linens, clean, beautiful views and neighborhood. I only recommend you bring cushions for the outdoor furniture but that’s no strike against the owners/manager - just our recommendation for your comfort. Easy to book, good communication from management company. I’ve used A-1 Property Mgmt before and will again.

Thanksgiving November 2023 Stay

We loved the location of PieSeas. The fact that there was extra parking was a plus. Our grown kids and their in-laws came in from all over NC. The house was decorated beautifully! We also love that it’s dog friendly. There were a few things that were somewhat inconvenient. The elevator location was problematic for us. My husband can’t use stairs easily due to health issues and recent surgeries, which is why we always choose a property with an elevator. The elevator opens into bedrooms and we couldn’t use it most of the time. We also prepared our Thanksgiving meal and needed an electric hand mixer and a whisk. Overall, the property is lovely. We would rent again and hubby and I would stay on the ground floor if it at least had a queen size bed and not just a full.

It has two bedrooms with King beds for the adults and plenty of options for the kids to spread out. Having three showers was awesome. Home was very clean when we arrived. Check in was very easy as it is just a door code that was sent a day in advance. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes and silverware. It is close enough to walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
