All rooms face the ocean for spectacular daytime and sunset views. The gourmet kitchen features new top of the line appliances including a 6 burner professional grade stove and griddle plus a pantry with the basics and complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There's even a separate two drawer under counter refrigerator for all your cold beverage needs.
Private and social areas are thoughtfully placed throughout the home so up to 8 guests can enjoy each others company or spend time on their own. The fireplace, library, tv's, and games complete the warm and inviting living spaces.
All four bedrooms are private sanctuaries with comfortable beds that will sleep 8 and the four full spa-like bathrooms include complimentary toiletries.
Two outdoor decks offer the best in indoor/outdoor living and the perfect place to watch the constantly changing ocean, beach goers and bald eagles in their search for puffins on The Rock. The lower deck features a 4 person hot tub, sofa, chairs and firepit and the upper deck is complete with comfy chairs and a fire pit. There are also beach towels and four adult size bicycles available for your use.
Located on a quiet, oceanfront street with two of the 44 public beach access points, it's a five minute walk to Haystack Rock and 8 minute walk to the nearest restaurants. Whether you want to explore the tide pools, take a walk or bike ride on the beach, stroll along the shops and galleries or do a coastline hike at nearby Ecola Park, On the Rocks is the perfect place to stay and explore all the area has to offer. Please note that our home is located on the downhill side of Haystack Hill, about 50 feet above the shore and Haystack Rock, with steps and a short steep driveway down from the street to the front door and main level.
