“The lake was wonderful! The dock, kayak, canoe, yard games, and sun porch were very nice. The entire inside was beyond disgusting, and despite reaching out to the property manager several times, and being told help was coming, none ever came. Our sheets had dog hair, dirt, and debris ALL through them, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, every window had cobwebs and loads of dead bugs, the door was broken, and everything was as “janky”. “We stayed at the wonderful Loza house for the weekend. The unit was beautiful, in excellent condition and very well equipped. The check-in process was seamless and our host, Jon was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The location was amazing, one of the best on-lake locations we have stayed at over the last few years. “I had a great experience at this property! It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, and made a a great home base. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as far as dining ware and cookware goes. We needed to call Albert to turn up the heat, but he arrived promptly and was very pleasant to interact with. We loved the decor of the place, and would love to return if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.”

“Every year my family and I visit the Lake Champlain area, and this year we decided to try this home in Port Kent. It was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is a pleasant walk to the lake, or to the marsh nature preserve nearby. Port Kent is also close to Ausable Chasm, and to Ausable Brewing Company for that matter. It was a very enjoyable stay here, and plan to return in the future.”

“Interesting home, well appointed. Some issues with cleanliness, for instance moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot. House was 51 degrees on arrival, took over 24 hours to warm up to 63 degrees. No help provided by owner or Vacasa. However the location and layout of the house worked perfectly for us and we had a spectacular eclipse experience.”

The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. “We loved this rental and our trip to the lake was perfect! The cabin was clean, the instructions from the host were easy, and the views of the lake were stunning.
