“the cabin had everything to offer! Loved the hot tub, the wrap around porch, a cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had trouble finding a roster for a couple of days, but then we found it on the back of the bottom cabinet. We had so much fun! Felt very safe and very comfortable. Thank you very much!”

“We loved everything about this rental… location, layout, decor, bed, shower, and hot tub! We will definitely be back next year!”

“The house was nicely decorated. Fairly clean. Kitchen needs a few more pots. Only one there Close to many bike rentals. We did the trail both directions. Once with rented bikes and the other direction with our own bikes. Check your rental bikes closely. One of the bikes had a warped wheel with loose spokes. Damascus is a beautiful taunt town with many friendly people. We had a good time. ”

“I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !”

“Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might……

“This house is so unique and absolutely beautiful! There are so many more amenities than were listed, like heated bathroom floors, multiple hooks in every room (which was very helpful after a day of snowboarding), reclining leather sofas, etc. It is just so charming and inviting, we wanted to move in!”

“We had a great day for a girls trip. The cabin was decorated very cute and was very convenient to downtown blowing rock everywhere that we need to be. The cabin was also very well equipped. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked very warm.”

“The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily……

“If u r looking for some space to sleep and cook this will fit those needs. Nothing fancy but clean enough. Had a comfortable stay. Bedroom not great for a light sleeper because of the traffic lights and sounds 30ft outside windows. Not a very busy road so not too disruptive.”

“Unfortunately we came during hurricane Helene. We had no power or water but our host was very receptive to messages and provided us with as much info as possible. Praying for all those affect in Western NC. ”

“7 of us stayed at this property and we found it to be provide plenty of space for all of us. We loved the sunroom with the fireplace; I do wish it wasn't out of service but nonetheless it was still a nice space. Located in a quiet safe neighborhood and close to local attractions/ would definitely consider staying here again! ”

“We loved everything about this place. It is on the most beautiful spot with a small creek running behind it. The deck and outdoor seating areas expand the home. The house itself fit our six perfectly, and the living room was cozy with tons of games and puzzles. We hope to come back again!”
