Beautiful views from the garden across Sheephaven Bay to Marble Hill Strand and Dunfanaghy. "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."

"This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. "
